Frequently Asked Questions
Are these Glock back plates engraved or printed?
They’re printed. We use a high-definition, full-color direct-print process — not laser engraving — for vibrant, detailed, multi-color designs with far more style than a flat single-color etch.
Will the custom print scratch or wear off from slide cycling?
No. The plate sits at the rear of the slide and isn’t a friction surface during cycling. The printed finish is built to resist normal wear, handling, and common gun cleaners.
Will a Gen 1-4 Glock back plate fit a Gen 5 slide?
No. Gen 5 slides use a modified slide-cut and striker geometry, so they are not interchangeable with Gen 1–4 plates. Order the Gen 5 plate that matches your slide.
What back plate do I need for a Glock 43, 43X, or 48?
Slimline models (G43, G43X, G48) require a dedicated Slimline plate. Their single-stack slides use a smaller cut than double-stack Glocks, so a standard Gen 1–4 plate will not fit.
Can I upload my own image for a custom printed Glock back plate?
