About Us

Hi! I’m Corey, the owner, founder, and solo operator of My Southern Tactical (MST), and I want to thank you for being part of the MST club. Below you’ll find our full origin story. If you have any questions, reach out – I’ll be the one responding 🙂

MST started in October of 2018 in the Florida room of our rental home in Orlando, FL. After seeing a demand by individuals to easily customize their rifles without having to dump a bunch of cash and time into a full Cerakote build, I decided to begin printing on PMAGs and dust covers for AR-15s. After a huge outpouring of support from a Reddit post, MST officially launched. Funny story: my wife and I came up with the name My Southern Tactical, but I accidentally bought the wrong URL as I put “tatical” instead of “tactical” (I blame my Alabama education on that one).

One year later in 2019, I decided to quit my full-time job as an engineer and pursue MST as my main occupation. Around this time we also purchased our first home, and MST was moved into a 400 sqft garage.

Today, MST still operates in that 400 sqft garage, printing and shipping mags and other accessories to amazing individuals all over the United States. My son told his classmates recently, to the surprise of his teacher, that his “dad makes mags in the garage.” Although we don’t make the mags here, hopefully we can print your magazine or custom accessory next “in the garage.”

8 years in, but our motto remains the same: “Your Gun, Your Way.”
